 Join GIS for the 2012 RIMS Conference in Philadelphia - April 15-18, 2012

Gamma Iota Sigma is pleased to be participating for the fourth straight year in the Annual RIMS Conference.  Please visit us at Booth #2054 to meet some of our exceptional students and learn more about how you can get involved in the programs and activities GIS has planned throughout the year. 

Please also join us for a panel moderated by Noelle Codispoti, Executive Director of GIS, on Monday, April 16 from 1:45-3:00pm Working with Risk Management's Next Generation. Alumni Marcin Plonka (2003), Corporate Risk Manager for SAP, and Jacob Timmins (2011), Westrope, will join Debbie Rodgers, SVP of Global Risk Management for ARAMARK, for a discussion on the three current generations of professionals working in the industry.

41st Annual International Conference

Join us October 11-13, 2012 for the 41st Annual International Conference in Chicago, IL co-hosted by the Alpha Kappa Chapter from Illinois State University. The conference will provide companies access to the next generation of industry professional. Over 300 students from more than 30 colleges and universities in North America are expected to attend. The Beta Zeta Chapter Becomes a Reality at the University of North Texas!

AAMGA Call for White Papers

With this solicitation, the AAMGA seeks White Papers on property and casualty industry-related topics focused on the issues and dilemmas faced by organizations and individuals in the Wholesale or Excess and Surplus and/or Surplus Lines industry, specifically where the industry is headed in the future. There is no word or page minimum or maximum. Due Date: March 1, 2012.

The Alpha Kappa Chapter of Gamma Iota Sigma at the Katie School of Insurance at Illinois State University is pleased to host Extreme Risk Takers IX.
