GammaSAID (Solutions for Authenticity, Inclusion, and Diversity) is Gamma Iota Sigma’s student-centered diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy driving long-term insurance industry talent pool growth, diversification, and accessibility. GammaSAID engages both students and industry stakeholders to amplify authenticity, inclusion, and diversity within the insurance industry through the development of resources, forums, and actionable solutions.

  • GammaSAID’s 5th Annual Unique Week coincides with the Global Dive In Festival and encourages students and GIS chapters to:

    • participate in social media campaigns promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion

    • create and participate in virtual events and activities within their campus communities

    • engage in thoughtful discourse and promote understanding​

This week gives us the opportunity to celebrate the diversity we have at UT Dallas but also gives us the chance to encourage that diversity within our chapter. Our aim is to connect our members to the insurance industry while using our resources to promote diversity and inclusion within the program.
