Internship Program

Gamma Iota Sigma's Project-Based Internship program allows students whose summer internship opportunities have been affected by recent workforce challenges to gain insurance industry experience virtually while providing employers additional support for summer work and projects.
The program has been canceled for 2022. Please visit the GIS Career Center to apply for internship opportunities.

Program Timeline
March 15 - April 15: Employers submit projects here.
May 2 - 6: GIS student members register for their top choice projects.
May 9 - 13: GIS staff assign students to projects.
May - August: Students work with project sponsors virtually to complete assigned projects.
