Officer Resource Toolkit

Officer Roles

Student officers drive all local chapter initiatives. They ensure that the chapter can run events, afford events, and they recruit new members to join. Officers should also plan ahead and ensure there is efficient succession planning from one executive board to the next.

What Officer Roles Should My Chapter Have?

  • Each chapter has the freedom and flexibility to create any officer role that is needed at any point in time.

  • You can add more officers or remove officer positions as needed.

  • Officers can carry more than one role or title, i.e. Recruitment Officer/D&I Officer.

  • Titles and responsibilities of each position are also allowed to be changed as needed.
